Traditionally, upon completion of the educational process, students of the Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University together with the college staff spent a warm and friendly day in nature.

Students of the Professional College of LTSNU visited the Alley of Glory to pay tribute to the fallen Defenders of Ukraine, laid flowers and honored the memory of the Heroes with a minute of silence.

On May 22, the first All-Ukrainian online lesson “Land of Heroes” was held on the platform of the Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the participation of Hero of Ukraine Andrii Holovna, one of the youngest Heroes of Ukraine, a serviceman of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the hero of the film “12. Land of Heroes.”

On May 23, the contemporary dance ensemble “LNU CREW” of the Faculty of Arts, led by Olha Bilokon, a lecturer at the Department of Musical Art and Choreography, won the highest award – GRAND PRIX at the International Two-Tour Arts Festival-Competition “Shining of the Nation”!

On May 22, an online meeting was held on the occasion of Vyshyvanka Day "Knotted with a Thread" for the Youth Council of the Markiv SVA, residents and friends of the Markiv community of Luhansk region.

Mine safety training sessions were held at the Professional College and Starobilsk Professional College of LTSNU, conducted by the Swiss Fund for Mine Action (FSD) in Ukraine.

On May 24, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences Inna OLEKSIENKO visited the "Kyiv Military Hub" - a center for comprehensive support for combatants.

On May 21, as part of the scientific project "Institutionalization of interaction between a higher education institution and territorial communities as a factor in restoring and preserving human capital in conditions of martial law and post-war reconstruction," an online training "Barrier-free communication as the basis of trust and effective interaction" was held.

On May 21, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University solemnly and inspiringly celebrated World Vyshyvanka Day — a holiday that annually unites Ukrainians around the world around one of the most valuable symbols of our national identity, spirituality, and cultural heritage.

Due to the Vyshyvanka Day, a thematic meeting "Threads of Unity" was held at the FPP with a resident of Lubny, a master of artistic cross-stitch embroidery, Nadiia Virych.

Kateryna Bilobrovska, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Senior Lecturer of Foreign Languages Department of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities on 19th May, 2026 took part in the jury of the 15th regional literary competition “Vidlunnia zapovitiv zemliakiv”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birthday of Vasyl Ivanovych Zakharchenko (13.01.1936 – 05.12.2018).
