On May 15, 2026, the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU hosted a thematic event "Black Holes of History: Pain That Never Relents" on the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression.

Natalia Yuhan, Professor of LTSNU, participated in an International Academic Lecture Series featuring leading European scholars.

On May 11, 2026, a guest lecture was held for students of the third (educational-scientific) level of higher education (Doctor of Philosophy), 1st–4th year, majoring in «Philology». The lecture was delivered by Serhii Komarov, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of World Literature at the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the SHEI «Donbas State Pedagogical University» (Dnipro).

The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conveyed warm greetings to the rector of LTSNU and thanked the university for supporting the defenders of Ukraine.

In order to increase the level of awareness of young people about the rules of conduct in the event of the discovery of explosive objects and the formation of safe behavior skills in wartime conditions, an online lecture was held for students of the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU.

Students and teaching staff of Brianka Professional College took part in laying flowers at the monument to those who died in World War II.

On May 10, representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University joined the celebration of Mother's Day in the city of Dolyna.

The Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology held an online photo contest "Mom, you are the only one in the world" for Mother's Day.

On May 7, historian and medievalist Vadym Chepizhenko gave a guest lecture for higher education students of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences on the topic "Turbulent Monarchy: Crown, Barons, and Parliament in England in the 14th-15th Centuries."

As part of the program for the development of international scientific cooperation and academic mobility, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology Ilia Fedorovych Kononov visited Poland on a working visit.

On the eve of Mother's Day, a thematic event dedicated to outstanding Ukrainian women who, with their wisdom, talent, courage, and indomitability, left a significant mark on the history and modernity of our country was held at the David Guramishvili Public Library.
