The academic staff of the Department of Pedagogy conducted a motivational event for students enrolled in the specialties “Physical Culture” and “Speech Therapy” on the topic “The Teacher as an Actor and Director of the Educational Process.”

On May 15, the Poltava Region Open Athletics Championship among boys and girls born in 2009–2012, juniors, adults, and veterans of the XXXIII generation was held at the Volodymyr Malykh Central Stadium, as well as the traditional tournament in memory of the director of the Children's and Youth Sports School of the Lubny Territorial Community, Volodymyr Semenets.

Honorary certificates were awarded from the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

Teachers who teach in the specialty "Audiovisual Art and Production" received certificates.

A scientific internship for students took place at the Faculty of Arts.

On May 15, 2026, the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education organized and conducted a career guidance interactive online webinar "Physical Culture, Health and the Profession of the Future" as part of the 1st year of the second (master's) level of pedagogical production practice in secondary education institutions.

On May 15, the VIII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Luhansk Region: Local History Explorations” was held at the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences. The conference was held in a mixed format and brought together scientists, local historians, museum workers, teachers, students, and public figures from Luhansk, Poltava, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Ternopil, and other regions of Ukraine.

On May 14, an interdepartmental student scientific and practical conference "Education and Personality in the Face of Modern Sociocultural Challenges" was held, which became an important platform for developing the scientific potential of students, forming their research competencies, and professional communication.

A professional seminar was held at the Pedagogy Department of LTSNU to discuss the dissertation of the candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy Anton Orishchenko.

Faculty members of the Department of Literary Studies and Oriental Philology successfully advanced their professional qualifications.

On May 15, 2026, the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU hosted a thematic event "Black Holes of History: Pain That Never Relents" on the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression.

Natalia Yuhan, Professor of LTSNU, participated in an International Academic Lecture Series featuring leading European scholars.

On May 11, 2026, a guest lecture was held for students of the third (educational-scientific) level of higher education (Doctor of Philosophy), 1st–4th year, majoring in «Philology». The lecture was delivered by Serhii Komarov, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of World Literature at the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the SHEI «Donbas State Pedagogical University» (Dnipro).

The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conveyed warm greetings to the rector of LTSNU and thanked the university for supporting the defenders of Ukraine.

In order to increase the level of awareness of young people about the rules of conduct in the event of the discovery of explosive objects and the formation of safe behavior skills in wartime conditions, an online lecture was held for students of the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU.
