On September 10, a sports and wellness event was held at the Brianka Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The event was dedicated to Physical Culture and Sports Day of Ukraine and the International Day of University Sport.

Students of the Professional College of LTSNU and the Starobilsk Professional College of LTSNU joined the “From the Heart” charity campaign and visited the Lubny branch of the Kremenchuk Regional Clinical Hospital for War Veterans of the Poltava Regional Council.

Ahead of the professional holiday of Education Workers’ Day, students of the Professional College of LTSNU and the Starobilsk Professional College of LTSNU prepared a festive concert for their teachers.

On October 3, a sport orienteering competition was held in Velyka Bahachka as part of the Poltava Regional School Cup.

On October 1, Ukraine’s Defenders Day and Ukrainian Cossacks Day, students of the Professional College of LTSNU and the Starobilsk Professional College of LTSNU took part in an event held in the Heavenly Hundred Heroes Square.

Today, the academic session began for first-year students enrolled in the second (Master’s) level of higher education in the Special Education. Speech and Language Therapy degree programme.

The Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences held a regular meeting of its Academic Council, during which current issues related to the organisation of the educational process, research activities, and the further development of the Faculty for the 2026–2027 academic year were discussed.

Future teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature are beginning their study of literary disciplines through Ukrainian oral folk poetry as part of the educational component “History of Ukrainian Literature.”

Representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University participated in an international webinar on the internationalisation of higher education and Estonia’s experience.

A career-oriented session entitled “The Teacher as an Ambassador of National Values” was held at the Lysychansk Pedagogical Professional College, a separate structural unit of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

On October 3, 2026, an open Luhansk Regional Championship in classic and high-repetition bench pressing for men and women was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in Lubny. The competition was dedicated to the memory of fallen Ukrainian defenders who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

From 21 to 25 September, a university delegation undertook a working (study) visit to Valencia, Spain, as part of the international grant project of the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, BEAUCOUP (Boosting Digital Excellence and Aptitude of Universities in the Eastern Partnership Countries).
