3 липня 2026 року Науковою частиною ДЗ «Луганський національний університет імені Тараса Шевченка» було проведено інформаційну сесію, присвячену роботі з Національною електронною науково-інформаційною системою URIS, модулем «Національна система дослідників України» та інтеграції цих цифрових сервісів із ORCID. Захід об'єднав науково-педагогічних і педагогічних працівників університету, які ознайомилися з сучасними цифровими інструментами обліку та оцінювання результатів наукової діяльності.

Із вітальним словом до учасників звернулися ректор університету Олена Л. Караман та в.о. проректора з науково-педагогічної (наукової та міжнародної) роботи Ірина В. Мигович. Вони наголосили, що цифровізація наукової сфери та впровадження Національної системи дослідників України є важливими складовими сучасної державної політики у сфері науки. Увагу було акцентовано на необхідності своєчасного формування достовірних цифрових профілів дослідників, які забезпечують об'єктивний облік результатів наукової діяльності та сприяють належному представленню наукового потенціалу університету на національному рівні.

Спікером інформаційної сесії виступила Яна В. Сидоренко, провідний фахівець відділу аспірантури, яка детально ознайомила учасників із принципами функціонування Національної електронної науково-інформаційної системи (URIS), можливостями модуля «Національна система дослідників України», а також механізмами інтеграції з міжнародним ідентифікатором ORCID. 

Під час презентації було розглянуто:

– призначення та функціональні можливості URIS і Національної системи дослідників України;

–  алгоритм реєстрації та авторизації користувачів;

– порядок інтеграції профілю ORCID із цифровим профілем дослідника;

– особливості внесення інформації про публікації, наукові проєкти, об'єкти права інтелектуальної власності, відзнаки, експертну діяльність та підготовку наукових кадрів;

– типові помилки, що виникають під час заповнення профілів, та шляхи їх уникнення. 

Увагу було також приділено практичній демонстрації роботи в особистому кабінеті дослідника, порядку підтвердження авторства, імпорту публікацій з ORCID, внесення відомостей до модулів рейтингування, а також механізмам верифікації інформації, що буде використовуватися під час оцінювання результативності наукової діяльності. 

У чаті інформаційної сесії науково-педагогічні працівники поставили низку запитань щодо підтвердження ORCID, особливостей імпорту англомовних даних, внесення рецензувань для Web of Science, відображення інформації про фахові публікації, а також строків заповнення профілів. Це засвідчило високу актуальність тематики та зацікавленість університетської спільноти у коректному формуванні власних цифрових профілів дослідників.

Наприкінці зустрічі учасники отримали відповіді на поставлені запитання, а також практичні рекомендації щодо подальшої роботи з Національною системою дослідників України. Захід став ще одним кроком у забезпеченні готовності науковців Луганського національного університету імені Тараса Шевченка до впровадження сучасних цифрових механізмів обліку та оцінювання результатів наукової діяльності, що є важливою складовою розвитку наукового потенціалу університету та його інтеграції до національного наукового простору.

Information Session on the National Researchers System of Ukraine

On 3 July 2026, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted an information session dedicated to the Ukrainian Research Information System (URIS), the National Researchers System of Ukraine module, and its integration with ORCID.

On 3 July 2026, the Research sub-division of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University organized an information session dedicated to the Ukrainian Research Information System (URIS), the National Researchers System of Ukraine module, and the integration of these digital services with ORCID. The event brought together the University's academic and teaching staff, providing them with an overview of modern digital tools for recording and evaluating research outputs.

The participants were welcomed by Olena L. Karaman, Rector of the University, and Iryna V. Myhovych, Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs (Research and International Activities). In their opening remarks, they emphasized that the digital transformation of the research sector and the implementation of the National Researchers System of Ukraine constitute important components of the country's contemporary science policy. They highlighted the importance of creating reliable digital researcher profiles, which ensure the objective recording of research achievements and contribute to the effective representation of the University's research potential at the national level.

The session was delivered by Yana V. Sydorenko, Leading Specialist of the Postgraduate Studies Office, who provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the Ukrainian Research Information System (URIS), the functionality of the National Researchers System of Ukraine module, and the mechanisms for integrating researcher profiles with the international ORCID identifier.

The presentation covered the following topics:

–         the purpose and key functionalities of URIS and the National Researchers System of Ukraine;

–         the user registration and authentication procedure;

–         the integration of ORCID profiles with researchers' digital profiles;

–         procedures for submitting information on publications, research projects, intellectual property, academic awards, expert activities, and researcher supervision;

–         common mistakes encountered when completing researcher profiles and recommendations for avoiding them.

Attention was also paid to a practical demonstration of the Researcher's Personal Cabinet, including author verification procedures, importing publications from ORCID, submitting information to the research assessment modules, and the mechanisms for verifying information that will be used in evaluating researchers' scientific performance.

During the Q&A, participants raised a number of practical questions concerning ORCID verification, the import of English-language records, recording peer-review activities for Web of Science, displaying information on scholarly publications, and the deadlines for completing researcher profiles. The discussion clearly demonstrated both the relevance of the topic and the University's strong interest in ensuring the accurate creation and maintenance of researchers' digital profiles.

At the conclusion of the session, participants received comprehensive answers to their questions as well as practical recommendations for further work with the National Researchers System of Ukraine. The event marked another important step in preparing the research community of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University for the implementation of modern digital mechanisms for recording and evaluating research performance, thereby strengthening the University's research capacity and supporting its integration into Ukraine's national research ecosystem.
