Classes on the protection of the civilian population
On September 23, within the "Peace in Digital Time" project, a class on the protection of the civilian population in the conditions of the military conflict in Ukraine was held for students of the Professional College and the Starobilsk Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
The project "Peace in Digital Time" is implemented by the NGO "Center for Joint Development "Dieva Hromada" in cooperation with the NGO "Human Rights Foundation" and is financed by the Institute of Foreign Cultural Relations (IFA) with the funds of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The event was conducted by Kateryna Ignatenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Work of the Educational and Scientific Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences.
The lecturer talked about mine safety, types of mines, rules of behavior in case of detection of dangerous explosive objects, showed a video. During the class, a ranking of the most dangerous and most widespread "dangerous finds" on the territory of Ukraine was created; the algorithm of actions during various types of shelling is discussed. In addition, the participants of the event collected "anxious suitcases".
