Practical Training Session: “A Resume That Works: Creating a Professional Profile”
The event was held in a blended format: some students participated directly in the classroom, while others joined online. This format provided an opportunity for everyone interested to take an active part in the training.
During the session, participants learned how to structure a resume effectively, present their professional competencies, identify their strengths, and tailor their resume to a specific job vacancy. Particular attention was paid to self-presentation and to ways of highlighting practical experience, participation in projects, volunteer activities, training courses, and other professional activities.
Students also received practical advice on preparing for job interviews, building a professional online presence, defining career goals, and searching for current job vacancies.
The training was highly interactive: participants asked questions, completed practical exercises, analyzed sample resumes, and discussed their own professional prospects.
Events of this kind help develop students’ career competencies, self-presentation skills, and professional positioning, preparing them for future employment and professional development.
The Career Development Centre continues to organize practical activities aimed at preparing students for the modern labour market.
