Meeting with Stakeholders
During the meeting, the participants considered the following aspects:
compliance of the educational program with modern requirements of the hospitality industry;
updating the content of disciplines in accordance with trends in the restaurant business, catering and service technologies, introducing the topic of regional aspects of the development of the hotel and restaurant business;
opportunities for expanding partnerships with enterprises in the hotel and restaurant industry.
Stakeholders shared their own experience, outlined expectations from young professionals, emphasized the importance of developing communication skills, service behavior, technological discipline, students, expressed their wishes regarding the content of disciplines, practical training and internship opportunities: increasing practical classes; participation in master classes from chefs, baristas and managers; conducting trainings on service communication; involving employers in the educational process. The discussion took place in an atmosphere of open dialogue and constructive cooperation. All parties confirmed the importance of regular updating of the educational and professional program in accordance with the needs of the labor market and the development of the hospitality industry. The results of the meeting determined the directions for further modernization of the program, in particular: updating the content of individual disciplines; introducing the topic of regional aspects of the development of the hotel and restaurant business, expanding cooperation with partner enterprises.
The meeting with stakeholders, teachers and students was an important step in improving the quality of training of specialists in the specialty "Hotel and Restaurant Business and Catering". Joint work on improving the educational program will contribute to the formation of competitive, professional and motivated personnel for the hospitality industry.
