Participation in Ceremonial Events on the Occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II 1939–1945
On May 8, students of the Professional College of LTSNU and the college staff took part in ceremonial events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939–1945.
On this day, we bow our heads to all those whose lives were taken by the bloodiest war in the history of mankind, we honor the feat of soldiers, participants in the liberation movement, home front workers, and civilians who suffered from the hardships of war.
During the event, those present observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen heroes and laid flowers at the memorial site. Each flower became a symbol of gratitude, respect, and remembrance of those who gave their lives for peace, freedom, and future generations.
Such events are important for educating young people in patriotism, respect for the history of their people and awareness of the high price of peace. Today, more than ever, we understand the importance of unity, courage and invincibility of the Ukrainian people.
We remember the feat of the past. We honor the heroes of the present. We fight for the peaceful future of Ukraine.
