On April 1, students, teachers, and employees of the Starobilsk Professional College took an intensive practical course in first aid aimed at practicing rescue algorithms in emergency situations.

The training was built on the principle of “minimum lectures – maximum actions”. Participants had the opportunity not only to listen to important instructions, but also to practice their skills on special simulators and mannequins.

The course program covered the most important aspects:

• how to provide assistance without endangering themselves;

• initial examination of the victim and determination of critical conditions;

• correct application of tourniquets and pressure bandages;

• cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);

• assistance in case of impaired airway patency.

In modern realities, the ability to provide first aid in a timely and correct manner is not just a useful skill, but a critical necessity. The college staff, in turn, emphasized the importance of mastering these skills in a team where a large number of young people are under their responsibility.
