On April 16–17, 2026, as part of the Science Days at the Professional College of LTSNU, the III scientific and practical conference "Current Problems of Science: Theory, History, Practice" was held. The event brought together students and teachers of various specialties, including: Secondary Education (Physical Education), Hotel and Restaurant Business and Catering, Design (Hairdressing and Decorative Cosmetics), Information, Library and Archives.

The conference was held in a mixed format. The first day was held remotely, which made it possible for a larger number of participants to join, and the second day was held in the auditorium, where a lively atmosphere of scientific communication and exchange of ideas prevailed.

External stakeholders were also involved in the event – ​​Angelina Mysnyk, owner of the beauty studio NAVI studio (Lubny) and Yaroslav Liubchenko, physical education teacher at the Vasyl Barka Gymnasium. They shared their own professional experience, provided practical recommendations and assessed the level of training of students.

A feature of the conference was the combination of theoretical research with a practical component. Each presentation was accompanied by a demonstration of practical results, which contributed to a better understanding of the topic and increased professional competence of the participants.

During the conference, topical issues of the development of science and education in physical education, modern trends in professional activities – designer, hairdresser, make-up artist and restaurateur, as well as the possibilities of applying the knowledge gained in practice were discussed.

Holding such events contributes to the development of students' scientific potential, the formation of research skills, critical thinking and professional self-realization.
