7th Edition of the All-Ukrainian Webinar “Modern Trends in Social Work”

On March 25, the Social Pedagogy Department of LTSNU continued the work of the All-Ukrainian webinar “Modern Trends in Social Work”.

The speaker of the seventh edition on the topic “The role of a responsible adult in the prevention of online sexual violence against adolescents” was a postgraduate student majoring in 231 “Social Work” of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, a methodologist of the Kyiv City Center of Social Services, a trainer of the National Training Center for the Prevention and Counteraction to Gender-Based Violence of the Higher School of Public Administration Ruslan GORCHYNSKYI. 

The event aroused considerable interest, and was attended by 181 participants – scientists, social practitioners, educators and students who seek to better understand modern challenges in the field of protecting children from online violence and effective methods of its prevention.

The representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University at the event were bachelor’s students and master’s students majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy, Practical Psychology”, as well as postgraduate students majoring in “Social Work”.
