Ukrainian Volunteer Day at the ER IBMPA and the ER IMIT
Every year on March 14, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Ukrainian Volunteer – a day of honoring the courage, patriotism and self-sacrifice of people who, in the most difficult time for the state, voluntarily stood up to defend its independence and territorial integrity.
On the eve of this date, on March 13, a memorial event dedicated to Ukrainian volunteers and all victims of Russian aggression was held in the Myrhorod House of Culture.
At 9:00, the participants of the event honored the defenders of Ukraine, as well as civilians, including children, whose lives were tragically cut short by the war, with a minute of silence. This moment became a symbol of deep respect, gratitude and sorrow for those who gave their lives for the freedom of our state.
After that, a film screening of the feature film “Cyborgs. Heroes Do Not Die” was held in the exhibition hall for students and representatives of the Institute of Business, Management and Public Administration and the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies.
The film tells about the heroic defense of Donetsk Airport and the courage of the Ukrainian military, who became a symbol of indomitability and strength of spirit. Watching the film was an opportunity to once again think about the price of freedom, feel pride in our soldiers and honor the memory of those who gave their lives for Ukraine.
Such events help preserve historical memory, cultivate respect for the feat of Ukrainian defenders and form feelings of patriotism, responsibility and love for the Motherland in young people.
We remember the feat of volunteers.
We honor the heroes.
Forward to Victory!
