"Knotted with a Thread"
On May 22, an online meeting was held on the occasion of Vyshyvanka Day "Knotted with a Thread" for the Youth Council of the Markiv SVA, residents and friends of the Markiv community of Luhansk region.
The meeting was held by Nazar Bozhynskyi, Candidate of Architecture, Associate Professor of the Department of Design and Media Production, Faculty of Arts, LTSNU.
The embroidered shirt is the chronicle of our lineage, written in threads on canvas, our common genetic code and a symbol of invincibility. Today, when life has scattered us to different corners of the country and the world, Ukrainian embroidery remains the strong bond that connects us to home and to each other.
