Meeting as Part of the “Young Educator School”
The meeting served as a platform for professional dialogue, the exchange of practical experience, and strengthening cooperation between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and Preschool Education Institution No. 8 “Kapitoshka.”
The event brought together educators and specialists from the preschool, lecturers from the Department of Early Childhood and Preschool Development, and students enrolled in the Preschool Education programme.
A distinctive feature of the meeting was its practice-oriented format. Participants not only discussed current issues in the professional work of preschool educators, but also had an opportunity to explore and apply contemporary approaches to organizing the educational process in preschool institutions, consider practical situations, and share their own ideas.
Experienced educators presented practical case studies and professional experience, demonstrating approaches used in their daily work with children. University lecturers took part in the professional discussion, while students had an opportunity to ask questions, express their views, discuss the proposed pedagogical situations, and relate their theoretical knowledge to real-world professional practices.
The mutual exchange of ideas among experienced educators, university lecturers, and future preschool education professionals was particularly valuable. This format promotes professional dialogue between higher education institutions and employers, helps incorporate current practical needs into the professional training of students, and creates opportunities to discuss contemporary approaches to the development of preschool education.
Meetings of this kind are an important part of the university’s cooperation with preschool education institutions and the professional community. Direct interaction with practitioners helps students better understand the specifics of their future professional activities while developing their professional competencies, communication skills, creative thinking, and critical thinking.
The meeting as part of the “Young Educator School” once again demonstrated that the best professional ideas emerge through interaction — when practitioners’ experience is combined with lecturers’ academic knowledge, while students’ energy and fresh perspectives become part of a shared professional dialogue.
We thank our partners, Preschool Education Institution No. 8 “Kapitoshka,” for their openness to cooperation, willingness to share their professional experience, and for creating a space for meaningful pedagogical dialogue.
Together, we learn, exchange experience, and help shape modern preschool education professionals!
