On March 24, 2026, a working meeting of the rector of the university, Olena KARAMAN, and the director of the Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment, Tetiana VAKULENKO, took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of the development of the external assessment system, the features of the national multi-subject test (NMT), as well as the challenges and prospects of ensuring the quality of education under martial law. Special attention was paid to supporting applicants, improving knowledge assessment procedures, and the role of universities in preparing applicants for the entrance campaign.

The participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of cooperation between higher education institutions and institutions that ensure the quality of education in order to form a transparent, fair and effective assessment system focused on the needs of modern society.

At the end of the meeting, the rector of the university, Olena Karaman, presented Tetiana Vakulenko with the symbol of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University - the image of the Great Kobzar as a sign of deep respect, gratitude for cooperation and a common desire to develop Ukrainian education and preserve national values.

The meeting was an important step in strengthening partnership relations and opened up new opportunities for further interaction in the field of improving the quality of education in Ukraine.
