Meeting of Agronomy Master’s Students with the Educational Programme Coordinator
During the meeting, Halyna Yevtushenko provided a detailed overview of the key features of the “Agronomy” educational programme, including its structure, the content of its educational components, and the expected learning outcomes. Particular attention was paid to the opportunity to study under the “Agrokebety” programme, which offers additional opportunities for the professional development of future agricultural specialists.
The programme coordinator also emphasized the importance of developing an individual educational pathway and the opportunities provided by non-formal education, which allow students to choose courses independently according to their personal interests and career goals. The participants also discussed current issues related to job searching and building a successful career in the agri-food sector, with particular attention to current labour-market trends, employment opportunities for graduates, and the role of the “Agrokebety” programme in supporting graduate employment.
Olena Samoilenko, a tutor at the Department of Biology and Agronomy, introduced the participants to the functionality of the Educational Portal of LTSNU. She presented convenient tools for organizing the educational process, accessing teaching and methodological materials, communicating with lecturers, and monitoring students’ academic progress.
Such meetings are an important part of the educational process, as they help students better understand the opportunities available at the University, plan their studies and professional development consciously, and make the most of their potential in the agricultural sector.
The Department of Biology and Agronomy continues to maintain open dialogue with students, supporting their successful adaptation and professional development in the agricultural field.
