On March 13, 2026, after an open meeting at the Veteran Development Center with Ukrainian writer, translator, musician, and public figure Serhii ZHADAN — “A Conversation about Media with Radio Charter,” which took place as part of their tour with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine, a live recording of the podcast “Radio Charter” took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The recording was attended by Serhii Zhadan — writer, translator, frontman of the band “Zhadan and Dogs,” as well as Olena Huseinova — editor and host. During the conversation, the participants discussed the novel “Nalivaiko” by Mykola Vingranovsky, talked about Ukrainian literature, culture, the power of the word, and the role of the media in modern society.

After the podcast recording, a concert by the Ukrainian rock band “Zhadan and Dogs” took place, which gave the audience a real explosion of emotions. The participants of the event actively sang along, danced, supported the musicians with applause and, together with the band, created an atmosphere of real drive. The students reacted especially brightly to the concert, for whom this event became an unforgettable experience of live communication with modern Ukrainian culture.

At the end of the event, Serhii Zhadan presented the flag of the band “Zhadan and Dogs” in memory of the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Olena KARAMAN. After the concert, everyone who wanted had the opportunity to talk with the artist and his team, get autographs and take joint photos in memory of this bright event — a live podcast and concert.
