Journalism Begins with the First Meeting
Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, Doctor of Philology, Professor Artem Halych, during the admission campaign, willingly communicates with applicants in the university's media studio. It is here that applicants have the opportunity not only to learn more about the educational program "Journalism", the features of study and the prospects of the profession, but also to see how a modern university media studio works.
Artem Halych demonstrates professional photo and video equipment to future students, introduces them to the techniques used in practice, and also conducts small master classes on video shooting, working in front of the camera, and creating high-quality media content. This format of communication helps applicants better feel the atmosphere of their future profession and make an informed choice.
Interestingly, all the applicants who visited the media studio with the dean and personally got acquainted with the study opportunities chose the specialty "Journalism" and successfully entered the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences.
Personal communication between faculty deans and applicants has already become a good tradition of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Lively dialogue, openness, the opportunity to ask any question and see the educational process from the inside help future students make the right professional choice. After all, it is personal contact, sincerity and trust that often become decisive in choosing a university that will become a place of professional development and personal growth.
