On March 18, 2026, members of the project groups of educational programs of the subject specialty A4.01 Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature) for applicants of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education held a working meeting to discuss proposals for improving the structure, content and forms of implementation of educational programs, their compliance with modern trends in the development of language and literature education, and coordination of actions of internal and external stakeholders.

The guarantor of the educational program Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature) of the second (master's) level of higher education, Prof. Kateryna Hlukhovtseva, and the guarantor of the educational program Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature) of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, Prof. Alla Nikitina, acquainted the participants of the meeting with the results of monitoring the proposals, in particular those aimed at improving the general provisions of the programs, formulating and optimizing the names of educational components, program learning outcomes, and visualizing the logical and structural connections between mandatory educational components.

During the meeting, it was noted that the educational process under the educational programs was based on logical-structural schemes of educational components, however, such schemes were not presented in a single document, therefore, the members of the project group approved the proposal to reflect in the structure of the educational programs not only the logical sequence of educational components by semester, but also to add logical-structural schemes of educational components to the programs with a reflection of the connections between them.

As a result of the discussion, it was proposed to adjust the content of the educational programs and recommend discussing the relevant changes at the meetings of the departments of the Ukrainian language and journalism and the department of literary studies and oriental philology.
