On June 1, the defense of bachelor's theses in the specialty "Performing Arts (Choreography)" was held at the Poltava Children's Music School No. 1 named after Platon Maiboroda and the Poltava University of Economics and Trade of Maiboroda, and on June 4, the defense of the specialties "Musical Art" and "Secondary Education. Musical Art."

For all specialties, the defense took place in two stages: 1) demonstration of practical skills during a performance (playing an instrument, singing, dancing, etc.; 2) determination of theoretical knowledge on the methodology of teaching professional disciplines. It is also worth highlighting the part on the defense of professional conducting skills - this is both work with a choir and a brass band.

The examination commission for choreography was headed by Oksana Volodymyrivna Mykhailenko - Doctor of Philosophy in Professional Education, Director of the Center for Culture and Leisure of the Poltava City Territorial Community. In turn, the chairman of the commission for musical art was Anatolii Mykolaiovych Nasmenchuk - Excellent Educationist of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, Director of the Hadiatsky Professional College of Culture and Arts named after I. P. Kotliarevskyi. Both were satisfied with the results of the defense and wished the future bachelors great creative inspiration and further professional growth in their specialties.
