Event for Children in Myrhorod
On April 2, 2026, students of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, the Faculty of Technologies and Information Systems, and the Institute of Business, Management and Public Administration joined the event held at the Myrhorod Lyceum named after T. H. Shevchenko in the city of Myrhorod.
The interactive quest game “In Search of a Long-Winged Bird” is designed for children aged 10-13, IDPs and local residents, and is conducted by the public organization “PRO OSVIT” within the framework of the “Unity for Action” program, which is implemented by IREX with the support of the US Department of State.
The organizational support of the event was carried out under the leadership of Doctor of Philosophy Olha KORINSKA - a graduate of the university with the specialization "Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology". Students acted as moderators and gained valuable experience in direct professional communication with a children's audience.
For students, participation in such an event was an excellent opportunity to test their skills in managing children's groups and informal pedagogy. Future specialists helped participants solve complex puzzles, coordinated the stages of the quest and created an atmosphere of mystery and drive in the style of the popular TV series "Wednesday".
All participants involved in the event received Certificates of Gratitude from the NGO "PRO OSVIT" for their significant personal contribution to the organization and conduct of the interactive quest game "In Search of the Long-Winged Wing".
Together, we help young people feel supported, develop leadership skills, and make new friends!
