The speaker of the event was Natalia KABUS, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Social Work and Social Pedagogy of the H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

The topic of the meeting was “Reintegration through leadership. Transformation of combat experience as a factor in the formation of the leadership position of veterans in communities.”

About 100 people – scientists, psychologists, social workers, as well as students from different regions of Ukraine – participated in the webinar. Traditionally, teachers, bachelors, master’s and postgraduate students of the Social Pedagogy Department of the specialties “Social Work” and “Social Work and Counseling” of LTSNU actively participated in the webinar.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with modern approaches to the reintegration of veterans into communities, discuss the role of leadership as a resource for personal recovery and social activity, and also consider practical cases of transforming combat experience into constructive social potential. The main emphasis was placed on the issue of forming leadership competencies of veterans, developing their subjectivity and involvement in community-building processes.

The webinar became a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and updating innovative practices of social work in the face of modern challenges. Carrying out such events contributes to increasing the professional competence of social sphere specialists and strengthening interregional scientific and practical cooperation.
