The lecture was held as part of the course “Organization of the Activities of an Educational Institution Leader” and focused on the topical and multifaceted theme “The Personality of a Modern Educational Institution Leader.” Members of the department’s academic staff, colleagues, and invited guests also attended the lecture.

A modern educational institution leader is not simply a person who holds authority. A leader is someone who can transform formal powers into trust, trust into teamwork, and teamwork into the development of an educational institution.

During the session, Viktoriia Serhiivna analyzed in detail the key components of the professional profile of a modern education manager. Particular attention was paid to leadership trends and requirements in the context of rapid change and the digitalization of education; emotional intelligence, resilience, and the creation of a positive psychological climate within a team; and effective strategies for making managerial decisions.

The lecture was distinguished by its high academic and theoretical level, practical focus, and interactive format. The lecturer successfully combined traditional teaching methods with modern multimedia technologies. Students actively participated in discussions of practical cases, shared their views on resolving real-life management situations, and debated the balance between administrative control and inspirational leadership.

Colleagues and higher education students in attendance praised Viktoriia Volodavchyk’s teaching skills, her ability to maintain the audience’s attention, and her capacity to create an atmosphere of open professional dialogue. The knowledge gained during the lecture will provide a strong foundation for the future professional activities of graduates pursuing careers in educational management.

Following the lecture, a meeting of the Department of Public Service and Educational Institution Management was held to discuss the open lecture. Professor Tetiana Sych, Head of the Department, gave the lecture a highly positive assessment, highlighting the relevance of the topic and the lecturer’s ability to present complex material in an accessible manner through dialogue-based teaching methods and engaging examples. She noted that the lecture demonstrated the lecturer’s high level of professional expertise and met contemporary requirements for higher education.

Professor Volodymyr Zablotskyi also noted the relevance of the lecture topic to students, which contributed to their motivation to learn. Department faculty members emphasized that the topic is of clear importance for developing the competencies students need for professional work in their chosen field. They also noted that the session met contemporary higher education requirements and that the material was presented at a high academic and methodological level.

The department unanimously resolved to give a positive assessment of Viktoriia Volodavchyk’s open lecture.
