Webinar on Digital Educational Environments of the Metaverse
Webinar topic: “Digital educational environments of the metaverse as a tool for interaction between a teacher and a student.”
The event was organized in a mixed format: in person – participants worked in Myrhorod, and online listeners joined via the Google Meet platform.
The speaker of the event was a member of the project team Serhii Yuriiovych Sydorenko – a student of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, a teacher of computer science at the Professional School No. 44 in Myrhorod, a certified Google and Microsoft teacher.
During the webinar, the following were considered:
modern approaches to the use of digital educational environments and elements of the metaverse;
tools for effective interaction between a teacher and students;
possibilities for increasing student involvement in the educational process;
features of organizing distance and blended learning;
practical cases of using innovative digital platforms.
Representatives of territorial communities, students, scientific and pedagogical workers and other stakeholders interested in developing partnership cooperation took part. This demonstrated a high level of interest of the educational community in implementing innovative tools that meet modern challenges.
The event was an important stage in the implementation of a project aimed at forming a modern digital educational environment, developing digital competencies and improving the quality of education in conditions of martial law and post-war reconstruction.
During the discussion, the participants not only learned about the latest practices in the use of digital technologies, but also discussed further areas of cooperation. In particular, proposals were made to organize similar events for residents of territorial communities, conduct trainings and practical classes on the use of innovative educational platforms, as well as expand partnership initiatives between educational institutions and communities. This approach will contribute to strengthening the integration of the educational and public environment, the formation of sustainable models of interaction and the development of human capital at the local level.
We sincerely thank all participants for their activity and interest!
