On October 20, representatives of the Faculty of Arts took part in the webinar “Academic Integrity: From External Requirements to an Internal Standard of Professional Conduct within the University Community.”

The webinar was delivered by Artem Artiukhov, Head of the Ukrainian Office for Research Integrity and Chair of the Ethics Committee of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.

The webinar addressed the development of a culture of academic integrity, the responsibilities of participants in the educational process, respect for copyright, plagiarism prevention, and the use of Internet sources and artificial intelligence in educational activities.

Particular attention was paid to practical aspects of checking academic texts, determining authorship in educational and professional programmes, and using artificial intelligence tools when completing academic assignments.

Participation in the webinar helped deepen participants’ knowledge of current academic integrity requirements and their implementation in the educational process.
