Introductory Meeting for Master’s Students
On September 28, 2026, an introductory meeting was held at the beginning of the first semester for first-year students pursuing a second-cycle (master’s) degree in D4 “Public Management and Administration.” The students had recently begun their studies at the Educational and Research Institute of Business, Management and Public Administration.
The event was attended by academic and teaching staff from the Department of Public Service and Educational Institution Management. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize the students with the structure and history of the university and with the organization of the educational process. Associate Professor and tutor Viktoriia Volodavchyk introduced the first-year students to the university and institute leadership, the academic calendar, assessment procedures and requirements, key information resources, and the specifics of using the university’s educational portal.
The students were welcomed by Tetiana Sych, Head of the Department, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor. She drew particular attention to interaction with the department’s teaching staff and highlighted opportunities for students to develop an individual educational pathway, choose an academic supervisor and elective courses, and participate in the department’s research activities.
Volodymyr Zablotskyi, Doctor of Sciences in Public Administration and Professor, and guarantor of the “Territorial Administration and Local Self-Government” educational programme within the D4 “Public Management and Administration” specialty, addressed the students with welcoming remarks and wished them inspiration and success in their studies.
The meeting provided a platform for constructive dialogue. Students received answers to current questions concerning the organization of the educational process, as well as information about the “Poshuk” student research group, the university’s and department’s online resources, assessment procedures, and evaluation criteria.
Thus, the event helped ensure an effective start to the students’ first year of study.
