Ukraine: Gratitude to Those Who Defend Us
Our country will soon commemorate Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine Day, the most important national holiday in the context of the full-scale war.
A particularly meaningful and sincere part of the meeting was the opportunity for higher education students to speak with a Ukrainian servicewoman, K. Yu. Borysenko, a graduate of the Preschool Education programme and a Doctor of Philosophy. During the meeting, they discussed strength of spirit, responsibility, love for Ukraine, the importance of professional and civic resilience, as well as the value of support and human gratitude.
For future preschool educators, this meeting provided an important opportunity to see an example of courage and responsible service to their country, to feel the unbroken connection between generations, and to understand the importance of their own professional work for the future of Ukraine.
The participants congratulated Karina Yuriivna and everyone involved in the defence of Ukraine on Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine Day, wishing them good health, reliable protection, endurance, and a guardian angel at every step.
We sincerely thank our colleague and alumna, who is now defending Ukraine, for the meeting, her openness, and the opportunity to speak with those who are defending our country today.
Gratitude. Respect. Remembrance. Faith in Ukraine!
