Teachers Participate in Webinar on the Internationalization of Higher Education
H. P. Zazharska and L. O. Varianytsia, teachers of the Department of Early Childhood and Preschool Development at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, participated in the project.
During the webinar, the teachers learned about contemporary approaches to the internationalization of higher education, the specific features of state policy and institutional strategies, and Estonia’s practical experience in this area.
Estonian experts presented three key areas:
International strategies of universities, student and staff mobility, and degree programmes delivered in foreign languages — presented by Heli Aru-Chabilan, Head of the Educational Programmes Centre at HARNO.
The Study in Estonia and Study in Europe initiatives, university marketing, and attracting international students — presented by Eero Loonurm, Head of International Promotion of Higher Education at HARNO.
State support for internationalization and performance-based funding — presented by Margus Haidak, Senior Adviser at the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research.
Participation in the event contributed to strengthening the teachers’ professional competencies, facilitating the exchange of experience, and identifying prospects for further development of international cooperation and the internationalization of the educational process.
We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in this project!
