The event brought together schoolchildren, students, teachers, young professionals and representatives of leading IT companies in Ukraine for the fifth time. According to the organizers, the festival became one of the largest youth technology events in Ukraine and gathered about 7,000 participants, of which about 4,000 were present offline in Lviv.

The Associate Professor of the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business, Candidate of Technical Sciences Valerii Oleksandrovych Kolesnikov took part in this event.

The IT Future Fest 2026 program included speeches by leading IT experts, presentations of modern technologies, thematic workshops, interactive zones and expositions of IT companies and educational institutions. Particular attention was paid to issues of career development of young people, popular IT specialties of the future, directions of artificial intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Vision, as well as non-technical professions in the IT field.

Among the speakers of the event were representatives of leading Ukrainian IT companies and higher education institutions, in particular specialists from N-iX, SoftServe, ELEKS, SQUAD, Infineon, as well as the rector of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" Natalia Shakhovska. Participants had the opportunity to communicate with employers, undergo quick interviews, receive consultations on professional development and get acquainted with modern trends in the IT market.

For schoolchildren and applicants, the festival was a great opportunity to learn more about modern IT trends and employment prospects in the technological field. Students received practical recommendations on building a career and developing professional skills, and teachers and educators joined a separate program of workshops and professional networking. After passing the test, teachers could receive a certificate of advanced training with ECTS credits.

IT Future Fest 2026 was held in a hybrid format - offline in Lviv and online for participants from all over Ukraine. The organizers prepared interactive activities, contests and raffles of valuable gifts, among which the main prize was an HP OmniBook 3 laptop. The event contributed to the popularization of modern IT education, the development of cooperation between business and the educational environment, as well as the formation of new opportunities for Ukrainian youth in the field of technology.
