Participation in the event "Dialogue with Business"
Recently, the event “Dialogue with Business” was held in the format of an open online dialogue. The meeting was dedicated to discussing local target programs to support relocated businesses, approved by the Starobilsk and Kreminna city military administrations.
The representative of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor Kateryna Kotelenets, joined the professional discussion of strategic documents. The participation of scientists in such events emphasizes the importance of expert assessment of socio-economic programs and their compliance with the real needs of the community.
The Starobilsk city military administration presented a comprehensive Program for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship for 2026–2027, which focuses on supporting veteran businesses, improving the skills of community residents for work, and providing systemic assistance to enterprises operating in relocation conditions.
Kreminna City VA shared their experiences on targeted business support aimed at preserving the economic potential of Luhansk region outside the region.
During the meeting, Kateryna Kotelenets focused on the social component of the programs, in particular, on the importance of sociological monitoring of the needs of relocated businesses and psychological support for veterans who decided to open their own business.
The event confirmed that joint work of administrations and the academic environment allows for more targeted and effective community support.
