Participation in the All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists
The conference presented a wide range of topical scientific and practical issues that reflect the problems and value orientations of modern student youth.
Yulia SIROVATKO, a second (master's) level higher education student in specialty I10 "Social Work and Counseling", presented a report at the plenary session on the topic "Post-traumatic stress disorder: concept, causes of occurrence and manifestations" from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
In her report, Yulia SIROVATKO revealed the essence of post-traumatic stress disorder, outlined the main factors of its occurrence in conditions of military events, and also characterized the key psychological manifestations of this condition.
The speech aroused the interest of the conference participants and was accompanied by an active discussion, during which the issue of effective approaches to psychosocial assistance, prevention of the consequences of traumatization and development of stress resistance among young people was raised.
Participation in the conference contributed to the deepening of scientific knowledge of students, the development of their research competencies, the formation of scientific communication skills and the exchange of experience with representatives of other higher education institutions.
The event became an important platform for discussing modern challenges facing Ukrainian students and determining the prospects for the further development of social work in the context of social transformations.
