On 25–26 September 2026, teachers and students of the Social Pedagogy Department of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University participated in the scientific and practical conference “People. Labour. Law: The Kondratiev Forum.”

The academic event was held at Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the distinguished scholar and Professor Radomyr Ivanovych Kondratiev.

During the conference, scholars, university teachers, practitioners, and students discussed a wide range of current theoretical and practical issues related to the development of contemporary legal scholarship, social policy, social work, labour relations, and the training of professionals in the socionomic field.

The conference programme covered several thematic areas.

Under the theme “The Human Dimension of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Security,” our university was represented in person by Larysa Oleksiivna Danylchuk, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor and Professor of the Social Pedagogy Department; Tetiana Melchenko, a second-year master's student in the I10 Social Work and Counselling programme; and Mykhailo Andriichuk, a doctoral student in the 231 Social Work programme.

Participation in academic events of this kind contributes to the development of the professional competencies of future specialists in the socionomic field, deepens their understanding of contemporary social and legal processes, and promotes interdisciplinary cooperation in social work, social security, and human rights protection.
