The forum became a platform for discussing current issues of development of the Luhansk region, preserving the human, institutional and economic potential of the region, supporting internally displaced persons, relocated businesses, and preparing communities for future recovery.

A special event of the forum was the awarding of the winners of the regional rating "Pride of Luhansk Region - 2026". 417 organizations and active representatives of the public nominated their nominees for participation in the rating, and the winners were determined by the results of the Luhansk residents' vote.

Two representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University became the winners of the rating.

In the nomination "Leader of Innovations of Luhansk Region" the winner was Oleksandr Naboka - Doctor of Historical Sciences, researcher, local historian and teacher.

In the nomination "Sports Embassy of the Year" the winner was Oleksandr Dubovoi - an outstanding Ukrainian strongman, five-time world champion and three-time European champion, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine.

Also during the forum, a special cancellation of the postal block “Luhansk Region is Ukraine!”, issued for the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence as part of the “Own Stamp” project, took place. The block included four stamps with images of relocated educational institutions in Luhansk Region, the design of which was developed by students of regional universities. The rector of Luhansk National University Olena Karaman took part in the special cancellation ceremony together with the head of the Luhansk Region Administrative District Oleksii Kharchenko.

The participation of university representatives in the forum, victories in the rating and inclusion in the symbolic postal project testify to the significant contribution of LTSNU to the development of education, science, sports and preservation of the Ukrainian identity of Luhansk region.
