Participation in the Discussion Meeting “iN Between Talks.”
Recently, on 8 June 2026, an online meeting was held within the “iN Between Talks” project, organized by the International Academy of Diakonia and Social Action in Central and Eastern Europe (Interdiac).
The event featured Kateryna Kotelenets, PhD in Sociology and Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, who delivered opening remarks at the beginning of the meeting.
The main purpose of the gathering was to create a safe, meaningful, and supportive space for exchanging ideas among participants.
The program of the event included several topics: an overview of the agenda covering assessment and reflection on current issues, exchange of concepts for collaborative learning, and planning of next steps; a reflection presented by Iryna Kalynovska on mutual support and compassion; and discussion points presented by Ulla Siirto, particularly regarding the identification of key themes, the most significant moments, and suggestions for the future.
The meeting served as a platform for participants to get to know each other more deeply, particularly through the “Getting to Know More Deeply” session facilitated by Kadri Kesküla. Participants also discussed “Co-Learning Draft Concepts,” focusing on the exchange of experience, the development of emotional healing practices, partnership building, and peacebuilding at the local level.
