Hairdresser’s Day Celebrated at the Professional College of LTSNU
The programme was varied and packed with activities. One of the highlights was a cosplay show, during which students presented original looks in which not only the costumes but also the hairstyles and stylists’ skills played an important role. Participants transformed themselves into various characters, creating bright and creative compositions.
The participants’ work was evaluated by a jury comprising Volodymyr Moroz, Head of the University’s Primary Trade Union Organization; Yevheniia Kulyk, Head of the Marketing Department; leading Marketing Department specialists Tetiana Demianchuk and Krystyna Dashchenko; and Diana Sapa, Head of the University Student Self-Government.
After the show, participants and guests joined a fun exercise session, adding even more energy and positive emotions to the celebration.
The audience warmly welcomed the hairstyle show, which also featured the youngest models. Their runway appearance was another reminder that a love of creativity and beauty can develop from an early age.
The “Braid in 2 Minutes” competition was no less exciting. Within a limited amount of time, participants had to braid as many braids as possible. Here, success depended not only on imagination and skill but also on speed, concentration, and dexterity.
At the end of the event, Natalia Motunova, Director of the Professional College, together with the members of the jury, congratulated the participants. Following welcoming remarks by Volodymyr Moroz, he and Natalia Motunova presented awards to the winners of the competition programme.
The celebration once again demonstrated that hairdressing is not simply a profession but a true form of creative expression, combining imagination, a sense of style, technical skill, and the ability to give people confidence and a positive mood.
Events like this help students discover their talents, improve their professional skills, experiment boldly, and feel the support of the university community. We wish our future professionals the courage to explore their creativity, develop their own style, and always remain unique!
