Human Trafficking: Myth or Reality?
The session was conducted by Nataliia Husakovska, an inspector with the Educational Security Service Sector of the Lubny District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Poltava Region.
During the meeting, the students learned about the problem of human trafficking, its most common forms, dangerous situations, and ways in which people can be drawn into labour and sexual exploitation. Particular attention was paid to safe behaviour, the ability to recognize suspicious offers, and ways of protecting oneself from potential threats.
Human trafficking is not a myth but a cruel reality that can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or social status. That is why it is important to be informed, assess information critically, avoid trusting questionable promises, and know where to seek help.
We sincerely thank Nataliia Husakovska for the informative meeting, the important knowledge she shared, and her contribution to developing young people's conscious and responsible attitude toward their own safety.
Knowledge, awareness, and vigilance are important steps toward protecting yourself from human trafficking!
