Territory of Journalism
The event became an important stage of preparation for the final certification and gave students the opportunity to present the results of their practical and creative work.
During the pre-defense, various media projects were presented, which demonstrated a wide range of professional interests of future journalists. Authored magazines on local history attracted considerable attention. In their works, the students addressed the history of their native land, local culture, figures who shape regional identity, as well as the problems of preserving historical memory. The publications combined information materials, interviews, reportage elements, and modern visual solutions.
A separate block was made up of art history projects. Higher education students presented magazine projects dedicated to theater, music, fine arts, and cultural events. The authors not only covered artistic phenomena, but also tried to comprehend their impact on modern society. Some of the works were distinguished by a well-thought-out structure, high-quality design, and a successful combination of text and visual content.
During the pre-defense, telegram channels created in the stream of constructive journalism, focused not only on highlighting problems, but also on finding possible ways to solve them, were also demonstrated.
During the discussion, the department's teachers provided students with professional recommendations on the content, structure of materials, technical design of creative projects and explanatory notes. The pre-defense became not only a form of checking the readiness of bachelor's theses, but also a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of ideas and improvement of author's concepts.
The presented projects demonstrated the students' interest in current trends in modern journalism, their desire to work with high-quality content and their readiness for practical work in the media field.
