Sweet greetings to the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University, Olena KARAMAN, were conveyed by the servicemen of the training center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed on the basis of the 239th combined-arms training ground.

With warm words of gratitude, a serviceman of the 239th Center for Training Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, specialty 101 "Ecology" Dmytro Krutik, visited the university.

Dmytro conveyed to the university rector and teaching staff sincere words of gratitude from his fellow soldiers for supporting military personnel in obtaining education, for understanding, humanity and invaluable work of teachers who, even in difficult times for the country, continue to teach, motivate and support Ukrainian defenders.

The soldier also reported that many of his fellow soldiers express a desire to enter Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, because they see in the university not only a high-quality education, but also real support, respect and the opportunity for professional development after service.

The symbolic gift that Dmytro left in memory of the university was especially touching. In the Veteran Development Center, he attached his own combat patch with a guardian angel to the board with military chevrons - as a symbol of faith, protection, unity and gratitude.

In response, the university rector Olena Karaman thanked Dmytro and his fellow soldiers for their courage, selfless service and defense of Ukraine. She emphasized that it is a great honor for the university community to educate Ukrainian military personnel who are currently fighting for the independence and future of our state.

“We are proud of each of our student-defenders. Your strength, resilience and patriotism are an example for the youth and the entire Ukrainian society. LTSNU is always open to military personnel, veterans and their families,” Olena Karaman noted, inviting Dmytro’s fellow soldiers to join the large university family of LTSNU.

Today, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is especially proud of the fact that among its students there are many servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who, while fulfilling their military duty, simultaneously receive an education, build the future and remain an example of indomitability, strength of spirit and love for Ukraine.
