Students gathered to remember the tragic pages of Ukrainian history. Those present watched a video about the fate of people who suffered from repressions, and also saw photos and documents from those times.

During the event, students spoke about famous Ukrainians - victims of the totalitarian regime, and read excerpts from letters and memoirs.

In memory of the deceased, the participants of the event lit candles and declared a minute of silence.

"Remembering the past in order to avoid mistakes in the future is everyone's duty," the presenters noted.

The event was held in a touching atmosphere and left a deep impression on all those present.
