This visit was a key stage in deepening professional interaction between our higher education institutions, which has been successfully ongoing since 2021.

The central event of the visit was a professional discussion of two educational and professional programs of the specialty 101 "Ecology" - the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education. Representatives of both universities analyzed the content of the programs, their compliance with modern labor market requirements and current environmental challenges. During the discussion, special attention was paid to the integration of innovative approaches, in particular, the combination of classical environmental training with practices of ecological and psychological restoration and modern methods of environmental monitoring.

An important vector of discussion was the issue of internal academic mobility for students and teachers of both levels of education. Mechanisms for implementing exchange programs and internships were outlined, which will allow students to use the research and laboratory base of both partner universities, and educators to increase their level of competence. This approach opens up new opportunities for practice-oriented training and broadening the professional worldview of future ecologists.

Joint work on the modernization of educational programs and the development of internal mobility confirm that the cooperation between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the National Forestry University of Ukraine is dynamic and effective. We are sincerely grateful to our Lviv colleagues for the constructive dialogue and joint efforts aimed at improving the quality of training of environmental specialists in Ukraine.
