Cooperation with Stakeholders: A Path to High-Quality Professional Training
During the meeting, the participants discussed the current needs of the community’s educational institutions for qualified speech and language therapists, current requirements for their professional training, and opportunities to strengthen the practical component of the educational programme.
Particular attention was paid to the professional competencies of future master’s graduates, the organization of practical training, cooperation with the community’s educational institutions, and taking employers’ actual needs into account when improving the content of the educational programme.
Such meetings provide an opportunity to hear the views of practitioners, receive professional recommendations, and jointly identify areas for further cooperation.
We are convinced that partnership between the university, education authorities, and employers is an important prerequisite for training highly qualified professionals who are capable of working effectively in an inclusive educational environment.
We sincerely thank our partners for the constructive dialogue, valuable suggestions, and willingness to continue our cooperation!
