On this special day, we honoured the bright memory of all those who gave their lives for the freedom, independence, and future of Ukraine. In prayer, we remembered the fallen Heroes and asked the Lord to grant health, strength, and protection to our modern-day Heroes — all the men and women defending Ukraine.

As a sign of deep respect and gratitude, flowers were laid at the monument to the Fighters for Ukrainian Statehood — a symbol of our remembrance, respect, and everlasting gratitude to those who gave their lives for Ukraine.

Addressing the Blessed Virgin Mary, we asked for her heavenly protection and care for our community, every family, and every soldier who is defending our land today.

May God’s grace protect our defenders and give them courage and endurance, while the prayers of their loved ones and of all Ukraine support them in the most difficult moments.

May the day come as soon as possible when peace prevails throughout Ukraine and our Heroes return home alive and unharmed.

Eternal memory and glory to the fallen Heroes!

God’s protection and strength to our soldiers!

Glory to Ukraine!
