The meeting focused on current issues related to students’ adaptation to the new academic year, social support for students, and the development of student initiatives.

Particular attention was given to first-year students who are just beginning their university journey. The participants discussed the importance of ensuring a comfortable transition into the academic environment, establishing effective communication among the university administration, academic staff, and students, and creating opportunities for young people to become actively involved in university life.

The meeting also addressed social support for students, the protection of their rights and interests, the development of trade union activities, and opportunities to implement youth, volunteer, cultural, sports, and educational initiatives.

The participants emphasized that student government should remain an important platform for dialogue, initiative, and responsibility. They also highlighted that cooperation among students, the trade union organization, and the university administration is essential to creating a modern, open, and welcoming educational environment.

Following the meeting, the participants outlined further areas of joint work for the 2026–2027 academic year. These will focus on supporting students, promoting their ideas and initiatives, and strengthening the university community.
