Career Orientation Visit to the Educational Institutions in Ivano-Frankivsk Region
The event was attended by Acting Dean of the Faculty Artem Halych, Associate Professor of the Departments of Primary Education, Ukrainian Language and Journalism Olha Kutsevska, Head of the Dolyna Consulting Center Vira Pushko and Assistant Professor of the Department of Primary Education Ninel Pravova. The trip covered two educational institutions: Bolekhiv Lyceum No. 1 "Academic" and Bolekhiv Lyceum No. 2 "Scientific".
During the meetings, pupils had the opportunity to directly communicate with university representatives, learn more about the educational programs of the faculty and ask questions that interest them most. During career guidance events, the specialties of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences were presented with an emphasis on their modernity, practical orientation and relevance in the labor market. Special attention was paid to the opportunities offered by studying at the university: participation in scientific activities, creative projects, student self-government, as well as the prospects for the professional development of graduates.
Separately, the participants of the meetings were introduced to the features of the 2026 admission campaign. Future applicants were explained the algorithm for submitting applications through the applicant's electronic account, the conditions for passing the national multi-subject test, and practical recommendations were provided for choosing a specialty according to their own interests and abilities.
During the events, schoolchildren received information materials about the faculty, containing up-to-date information about educational programs, admission conditions, and contacts for further communication.
The meetings were held in an open and relaxed format and aroused lively interest among students. Active dialogue, numerous questions, and sincere interest demonstrated the relevance of holding such career guidance events.
The visit was an important step in forming a conscious professional choice of young people and popularizing the educational opportunities of the university among future applicants. We sincerely thank the administrations of educational institutions for the warm welcome, openness to cooperation, and interest in the professional future of pupils.
