Career Guidance Outreach to Educational Institutions of Ivano-Frankivsk Region
On April 16, representatives of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences conducted a career guidance outreach visit to general secondary education institutions of the Dolyna City Council in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The event was attended by Acting Dean Artem Halych, Associate Professor of the Departments of Primary Education, Ukrainian Language and Journalism Olha Kutsevska, Head of the Dolyna Consultation Center Vira Pushko, and Assistant of the Department of Primary Education Ninel Pravova.
As part of the visit, four educational institutions were covered: Knyazholuka Lyceum, Tiapcha Lyceum named after Olha Duchyminska, as well as Hoshiv and Solukiv secondary schools. Senior students had the opportunity to communicate directly with university representatives, learn more about educational programs, and ask questions of greatest interest to them.
During the meetings, students were introduced to the faculty’s specialties, with an emphasis on their relevance, practical orientation, and demand in the labor market. Particular attention was paid to the opportunities provided by studying at the faculty, including participation in research activities, creative projects, student self-government, and prospects for professional development.
Considerable focus was placed on the 2026 admission campaign. Prospective applicants were informed about the procedure for submitting applications via the electronic system, the specifics of taking the National Multi-Subject Test, and were given practical advice on choosing a field of study according to their interests and abilities.
During the events, students received informational materials about the faculty, containing up-to-date details on academic programs, admission requirements, and contact information for further communication.
The meetings were held in an open and friendly atmosphere and generated strong interest among students. Active dialogue, numerous questions, and genuine engagement demonstrated the importance of such initiatives. Participants received comprehensive answers regarding studies, student life, internship opportunities, and future employment.
The outreach visit became another important step toward helping young people make informed career choices and promoting the university’s educational opportunities among school graduates. We sincerely thank the administrations of the educational institutions for their warm welcome, openness to cooperation, and commitment to their students’ future. We hope that these meetings will mark the beginning of new educational journeys and successful professional paths for future applicants.
