Career Guidance Activities of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences
On April 3, Artem Halych, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, together with his colleague Olha Kutsevska, Associate Professor of the Departments of Primary Education, Ukrainian Language and Journalism, Vira Pushko, Head of the Dolyna Consultation Center, and Oksana Beis, Director of the Lysychansk Pedagogical Professional College, conducted a career guidance visit to general secondary education institutions of the Vyhoda territorial community, Kalush district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
As part of the visit, four educational institutions were attended: Vyhoda Lyceum of the Vyhoda Settlement Council, Novoshyn Secondary School, Staromizun Lyceum named after Vasyl Verkhovynets, and Shevchenko Secondary School. During the meetings, senior students had the opportunity to become directly acquainted with the educational opportunities offered by the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences.
University representatives presented the academic programs of the Faculty, emphasizing their relevance, practical orientation, and career prospects for graduates. Particular attention was paid to the specifics of the educational process, opportunities for students’ participation in academic, creative, and social activities, as well as the advantages of studying at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
Special attention was also given to the 2026 admission requirements, including application procedures, entry requirements, the role of the National Multi-Subject Test, and practical advice on choosing a future profession.
During the events, students were provided with printed promotional and informational materials containing detailed information about the Faculty’s programs, admission conditions, and contact details for further communication.
The meetings were held in an open and friendly atmosphere and generated significant interest among the students. At the end of each meeting, active discussions took place: students asked numerous questions about the specifics of studying, student life, internship opportunities, and future employment. All questions were answered thoroughly and comprehensively.
The conducted career guidance activities contribute to increasing students’ awareness of the University’s educational opportunities and help prospective applicants make informed decisions about their future careers.
