Professor Oleksandra Liashenko Participated in the International Conference “Mises Readings 2026”
In her presentation, entitled “Economic Security as a Measure of Economic Freedom,” she focused on the relationship between security, freedom of economic activity, government regulation, and business adaptation in the context of war.
The key argument of her presentation was that economic freedom is both a measure and a source of economic security. Ukraine’s experience demonstrates that businesses’ ability to adapt, maintain initiative, foster trust, and act responsibly is an important component of economic resilience and the country’s future recovery.
It is worth noting that the Educational and Research Institute of Business, Management and Public Administration at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University offers Economic Security Management as an elective course.
