The President of Ukraine Awarded Oleksandr Dubovoi the Honorary Title "Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine"
Oleksandr Volodymyrovych is a well-known specialist in the field of physical culture and sports, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, personal trainer of members of the national team of Ukraine in all-around sports, and long-time head of the Faculty of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU.
Under his leadership, outstanding athletes and coaches of Ukraine carry out educational, scientific and sports activities at the faculty, including: Olympic cycling silver medalist Iryna Yanovych, Olympic modern pentathlon bronze medalist Viktoria Tereshchuk, three-time world champion in powerlifting, silver medalist of the World Games, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine Mykola Barannik, Honored Coach of Ukraine, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine Valerii Hazaiev, Honored Coach of Ukraine, Master of Sports of Ukraine in artistic gymnastics Oleksandr Brusak, as well as professors, candidates of sciences, doctors of philosophy and masters of sports in various sports.
Oleksandr Dubovoi's contribution to the development of the sports movement in Ukraine is also significant. He was the organizer and co-organizer of numerous sports events of various levels - regional championships, Ukrainian Cups, Ukrainian, European and world championships in all-around sports, which were successfully held both in Ukraine and abroad.
Oleksandr Volodymyrovych pays special attention to the patriotic education of youth through sports. He constantly participates in the organization and holding of mass physical culture and sports events of a patriotic nature at the university level, territorial communities and regions, popularizing a healthy lifestyle, strength of spirit and love for Ukraine.
