Підвищення професійної кваліфікації
From March to May 2026, the academic staff of the Department of Literary Studies and Oriental Philology actively worked on enhancing their professional skills, implementing the strategy of lifelong learning and improving the quality of higher education.
A landmark stage in their professional development was a large-scale internship completed from March 30 to May 2, 2026, by Professors Viktoriia Dmytrenko and Olha Kryzhanovska, and Associate Professor Andrii Hurduz. Based at the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literatures and Methods of Their Teaching at Volodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University, the colleagues successfully fulfilled an internship program totaling 180 hours (6 ECTS credits). The topic of the internship – «Literary and Methodological Dimensions of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature Research» – covered the most current vectors of modern philological science and innovative approaches to teaching. The internship was supervised by the Head of the Department at TNPU, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Nataliia Hrytsak, which ensured a high theoretical and practical level of scientific cooperation between the universities.
In addition, the department's faculty demonstrated high individual initiative in acquiring new competencies. Professor Viktoriia Dmytrenko significantly deepened her expert skills in the field of educational quality assessment. She brilliantly completed the «School of Experts» and «Anti-Discrimination Examination of Educational Literature» courses at the State Institution «Ukrainian Institute for Educational Development». Furthermore, Viktoriia Dmytrenko successfully finished a series of professional development programs on the topic «Quest-Course 'Education Without Discrimination» organized by the Non-Governmental Organization «EdCamp Ukraine». The acquired knowledge will allow for even more effective implementation of the principles of equality and inclusion into the educational process.
Associate Professor Andrii Hurduz focused on modern standards and regulatory aspects of higher education. He successfully mastered the course «National and Educational Qualifications: Current Methodological Approaches for Higher Education Institutions» provided by the National Qualifications Agency, which is extremely important for adapting the department's educational programs to modern labor market requirements.
We sincerely congratulate our colleagues on the successful completion of their professional development programs! We are proud of your commitment to self-improvement, as your professionalism is the guarantee of a high-quality education for our students and new scientific achievements for the university.
